FireLake Grill House — Menu Guide
By Firoz Khan · FK Digital Media
FireLake Grill House & Cocktail Bar is the restaurant of the Radisson Blu Mall of America in Bloomington, Minnesota farm-to-table American cooking under executive chef John Warr — open, per the official site, 365 days a year. One clarification worth making: the old downtown Minneapolis Radisson Blu is now the Royal Sonesta (its restaurant is Wood + Paddle, not FireLake) — the FireLake brand lives on at Mall of America, which is the restaurant this guide covers. The good news for menu-watchers: FireLake publishes official itemized prices on its menu page. Everything is written in our own words.

What we'd order
If we had one dinner here, this is how we'd play it:
- Start with: the popovers ($9) — cheap, warm, and the house signature.
- The Minnesota play: the wild rice soup ($9) plus the walleye cakes ($15).
- The grill play: the bison burger ($19) — the most Minnesotan thing on the burger list.
- The splurge: the filet mignon ($68) if the night calls for it.
- After dinner: you're at Mall of America — the cocktail bar is the nightcap, the mall is the walk.
Planning your visit
- Not downtown: this is the Bloomington / Mall of America location — don't navigate to the old 7th Street address.
- 365 days: holidays included, per the official site — useful for Thanksgiving/Christmas-week trips.
- Book ahead — OpenTable shows steady daily bookings; weekends go fast.
- Parking: Mall of America ramps; hotel guests use the Radisson Blu entrance.
