Level 5 — Menu Guide
Level 5 is the rooftop restaurant and lounge of Hotel Chaco at 2000 Bellamah Ave NW — Albuquerque's big-view dining room, with the Sandias, downtown, and Old Town spread out below. Chef Goran Basarov cooks modern American through a New Mexican lens: green chile, carne adovada, and regional ranch beef treated with European technique. Dinner is nightly; weekend brunch runs Saturday–Sunday. The restaurant publishes no regular menu prices. Everything is written in our own words.

What we'd order
If we had one dinner here, this is how we'd play it:
- Start with: the duck mole or the watermelon burrata.
- The plate: the Matanza confit suckling pig — it's the dish people remember.
- The steak play: the Ramon Perez Ranch strip.
- The view: book at sunset — the Sandias do the rest.
Planning your visit
- Book on OpenTable — the venue is heavily booked ("Booked 29 times today" on Sep 30, 2026).
- No published prices: budget at the $50+ band and ask when reserving.
- Sunset timing matters: this is a rooftop — a 5:30–6 PM reservation in good weather is the move.
- Brunch is weekends only: Sat–Sun 8 AM–1 PM.
