Gabrielle — Menu Guide
Gabrielle is the flagship restaurant of Hotel Bennett at 404 King Street — the hotel's own term for the cooking is "Stylishly Southern," and the restaurant claims the distinction of being Charleston's only restaurant opening directly onto Marion Square. Executive chef Edgar Kano leads the kitchen (with pastry chef Rémy Fünfrock), serving breakfast, lunch, dinner, and weekend brunch. Unlike most of its peers, Gabrielle's official menu PDFs carry real prices — but note the era: the latest official dinner menu is February 2024, so call ahead to confirm. Everything is written in our own words.

What we'd order
If we had one dinner here, this is how we'd play it:
- Start with: the bigeye tuna tiradito — it's the dish the press keeps naming.
- The splurge: the King's Tower or the ossetra caviar for the full Marion Square occasion.
- The steak play: the 16oz ribeye (reported $70, Feb 2024 era).
- Brunch: the Eggs Bennett — it's the namesake for a reason.
